Acoustic: Transmitters

Lotek manufactures a variety of acoustic transmitters that utilize the latest in microprocessor-based coded technology. Our coded acoustic transmitters significantly reduce the need for additional frequencies, with a corresponding reduction in total scan time over conventional pulsed systems.

MA Series Available in a variety of sizes and longevity configurations, MA Series acoustic transmitters are digitally encoded for use with MAP radio receivers.	Miniature MAP Series The Miniature MAP acoustic transmitters are the smallest addition to the Lotek MAP Series products. These coded tags are compatible with Lotek MAP acoustic receivers and are suitable for use on smolt and similar small fish.
SA Series Available in a variety of sizes and longevity configurations, SA Series acoustic transmitters are digitally encoded for use with SRX radio receivers.	MAP Series MAP acoustic transmitters are designed for operation with Lotek's unique MAP telemetry systems. MAP systems allow up to 80,000 unique codes on a single acoustic frequency, while retaining the ability to identify individual animals.
JSATS AMT The Lotek JSATS AMT – Juvenile Salmon Acoustic Telemetry System Acoustic Micro Transmitter – permits tracking of sub-yearlings and allows for tens of thousands of unique IDs on a single acoustic frequency.
